Turkish Shooter Yusuf Dikec Wins Silver in Air Pistol Mixed Team Event

Veteran Olympian Earns Second Olympic Medal

Dikec adds to his bronze medal from Rio 2016.

Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec earned a silver medal in the shooting 10m air pistol mixed team event at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Tuesday.

The 51-year-old Dikec, competing in his fifth Olympic Games, teamed up with Yasemin Sinirlioglu to finish second to China.

Dikec, who won a bronze medal in the same event in Rio in 2016, is one of Turkey's most successful Olympians.

The Turkish duo of Dikec and Tarhan made history in reaching the final, knowing they would deliver their nation a first-ever Olympic medal in the event.
